McClure Pass

As you head towards Aspen from Glenwood Springs, hang a right in Carbondale onto CO-133.  You'll find some fantastic riding, as you wind along the Crystal River on well maintained two lane roads.   About 17 miles later you'll encounter the quaint little town of Redstone.  The Inn has great food, so you better stop for lunch.    After lunch head on up toward the pass.  If you feel adventurous (meaning "chip seal" and dirt roads) you could take a side trip to Marble... but I recommend saving that one for a car.....    The following are some photo's we took from pullout's along the way to the top of the pass.  I'd recommend this ride in the fall, so you can get the full effect of the colors.....
